My kids and I had so much fun exploring this super cool traveling exhibit at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas. If you’re going to be in Dallas this summer, then you’ve gotta see The Art of the Brick exhibit at The Perot Museum in Dallas, TX!

The Art of the Brick exhibit claims to have the largest and most elaborate display of world-famous masterpieces constructed using only LEGO bricks®. My kids love LEGO® bricks and creating different things with them, and so this was the perfect creative space where they could unlock their inner engineers, architects, and artists to let their imaginations run free!

These incredible artistic works were created by Nathan Sawaya, a New York City attorney turned contemporary artist. My family and I were in awe over both the original and re-imagined versions of some of history’s most famous works of art, including Van Gogh’s Starry Night, Michelangelo’s David and Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring. I found this exhibit at The Perot Museum in Dallas a great way to combine my kids’ love of everything LEGO® with my desire for them to learn to appreciate the arts. The Art of the Brick LEGO Exhibit at Perot Museum in Dallas

Your kids are going to love this super cool LEGO® exhibit at The Perot Museum in Dallas! I had such a hard time pulling them away from these awesome works of art using LEGO bricks®. I was even more surprised to learn that the LEGOs the artist, Nathan Sawaya, uses are the exact same ones you can buy at the store.

Included in the experience is a hands-on creative space called The Science of the Brick, where guests can unlock their inner engineers, architects and artists to let their imaginations run free. The exhibition also offers a gallery showcasing an innovative, multimedia collection of LEGO-brick infused photography produced in tandem with award-winning photographer Dean West. What a great way to introduce  and promote STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) learning for all ages!

Locals will recognize Dallas’ iconic Pegasus displayed just inside the entrance to the museum.
