A wide band fabric headband is the easiest thing to add to any hairstyle you might already have in place…or to hide and area that didn’t turn out as expected! You can wear them like a headband under the hair in back or around the head over the hair too.

How do you plait a child’s hair?

While plaiting or braiding might seem complicated, it is actually easy after a little practice by following these simple steps:
1. Brush or comb hair out removing any knots or snarls.
2. Divide hair into three equal sections (it is most helpful if they are all of a similar length as well).
3. Fold one of the outside segments over the middle segment then the other outside segment over the middle.
4. Continue folding outside over middle until you have the desired length and then secure with a covered rubber band, pony tail holder or hair clip.
5. You can change the look of the plait by varying the tension held at each fold.

What are some cute school hairstyles?

I love this list for easy school hairstyles that can be accomplished in minutes or less. One of the easiest ways to keep your hair out of your face at school is with a simple looped back ponytail (idea #18 on our list).
