This Snowman Toilet Paper Roll craft is the perfect indoor craft for kids. Sometimes it’s too cold to head outside even to build a Snowman so let them build one inside instead! Kids of all ages will love making this toilet paper snowman craft! It’s a budget-friendly snowman craft that you can make whether you’re at home or in the classroom!
Toilet Paper Snowman Craft For Kids
My kids love reusing things around the house to make crafts and it’s a great way to reduce our carbon footprint too so I say it is a win-win!
This Snowman Toilet Paper Roll is easy to make and can be made with supplies you most likely already have at home.
Supplies You Need to Make A Snowman Toilet Paper Roll:
- Toilet paper roll
- White paint
- Black foam paper
- Orange foam paper
- One brown pipe cleaner
- Two googly eyes
- Black sharpie
- Scissors
- Paint brush
- Glue
How to Make A Snowman Toilet Paper Roll:
Start by painting two to three coats of white paint onto the toilet paper roll and set aside to dry.
While your paper roll is drying, take black foam paper and cut out the shape of a hat. Be sure to cut it proportional to the toilet paper roll so that it doesn’t look too big or too small.
Now cut out the shape of a carrot from the orange foam paper. Make sure it is relatively small because this with be the nose of our snowman.
Once the toilet paper roll has dried, glue the hat, googly eyes, and carrot nose onto the top of the toilet paper roll for the snowman’s face and head.
Use a pen or scissors and punch one hole on each side of the snowman on roughly the halfway mark.
Now feed the brown pipe cleaner through both holes. You should have two ends of the pipe cleaner sticking out of each side where the arms should be. Get creative and bend the pipe cleaner so that they resemble sticks or hands.
Finish up the snowman by drawing the remaining details with a black sharpie. Be sure to draw a mouth, buttons, and any other details you want to add.
Then you’re all done with your toilet paper roll snowman!
